Shindaiwa Testimonials

Roddy

"Thank you for your commitment to excellence. Your products have definitely exceeded expectations and I am extremely pleased to have bought your products. I was so pleased with my grass trimmer that I ended up buying a leaf blower and hedge trimmers as well. Keep up the good work and attention to detail that everyone at your company does to make this product the best in the business."

"

I hate to say it, but one thing I learned from my dad is to do the exact opposite of what he always did. I grew up with all kinds of blowers, trimmers, and tractors that usually never worked more than a year or two. I was very determined not to follow in the same footsteps and after much research I bought a top of the line Shindaiwa backpack blower and trimmer. It's amazing the joy I have gotten over the last 8 years when each and every time I have gone to use them they have have started and worked flawlessly. I can say with certainty that I would never buy anything else in the future. Thanks!

"It all started for me in 1984 when I bought a C-35 brush cutter to help keep the brush down on our property in Western Oregon. At $325 it seemed like a lot of money at the time, but in hindsight it was a very good purchase. I ran that C-35 as my only trimmer for the first twenty years before I purchased a T272X. With 26 years of hard use I have changed the fuel lines once. I have been so impressed with Shindaiwa equipment that I have taken to collecting it just for the joy of running all their different models. I currently have a fleet 7 brushcutter/trimmers. Shindaiwa may not be as popular as some of the other products out there, but I'll vouch for their quality any day. "

"This year we put 2 Shindaiwa Trimmers into our fleet – a T2520X and a T242. Our guys fight over these 2 units each day. The T242 is a lightweight 2 stroke well balanced trimmer. The 2510X has the extra torque for tough jobs like edging along overgrown sidewalks. Both of these units came equipped with Speed Feed 450 heads which have offered simply outstanding ease of use and performance."

Kerry

"I have used Shindaiwa for 30+ years. I tried another leading brand but the Shindaiwa products start better, out perform, and have far less service issues than the Stihl trimmer he purchased. Why switch when you have the best! "

— Kerry, Badger Lawn Care

"The addition of Shindaiwa this year has been very positive for us. We have new customers coming from as far as 60 miles away for parts are very excited about having us carry Shindaiwa and say that they will not have any other brand. Our existing customers that have purchased a Shindaiwa from us are very satified with their units. The Speed-feed head has been a BIG hit with all of them."

"I bought my weed eater from a small outdoor supply store in Salado, Texas about 6 or 7 years ago. That "baby" has paid for itself a hundred times over. It is as faithful as my wife, never lets me down, keeps my yard in tip top shape. Easy to use and I love this piece of equipment. I love it so much, that it is one of my "no borrow" items, though I ought to be a little more lax on that issue as it sure would sell more of your products."

"My shindaiwa weed trimmer got bounced out of my truck on the highway. Despite a few dents and bruises it still works like a dream. You guys build tough stuff. Forever a shindaiwa customer."

"I have had my C35 Shindaiwa weedeater since 1987 and it has had heavy use. I had a new gasket kit installed in 2009. It is still running strong. I am giving it to my son and getting a new C344 tomorrow. Shindiawa cannot be beat. "

"Through four years of commercial abuse the Shindaiwa Brushcutter has proven to be the most reliable machine I have ever seen.... We highly recommend Shindaiwa."

"I wanted to give my initial impressions of the new T242 trimmer I just purchased. First, I have been running Redmax trimmers exclusively for the past 8yrs and though I have not had any issues with them I did want to give Shindiawa a try. Immediately I have noticed that the Shindiawa trimmer is much smoother in hand. I don't know if that's attributed to Shindiawa's anti-vibration system or the engine itself but I like it. Second, the Shindiawa revs quicker and does not seem to bog down as quickly as the comaparable sized Redmax unit. My Redmax trimmers have always seemed to be running too lean in order to meet emission standards. The weight of the Shindiawa is also a little less than my comparably sized Redmax unit. The only minor complaint I have is the T242 did not come with a shoulder strap. I will have to pay extra for it. My Redmax units come with straps. If the durability of the T242 is as good or better than my Redmax units I will difinitely be a repeat customer."

"I think this will say it all.. Stihl claims to be number one. I am the fleet mechanic/maintenance supervisor for a large landscape company who uses all Stihl, for whom I work 50 hours a week, but I also own my own small landscape company I run on the weekend, usually working 18-30 hrs Friday thru Sunday. If its a handheld and not made by Yamabiko Corp., I won't personally own it. Here's the truth.. Hour by hour as the time passes, Shindaiwa continually proves itself to be the absolutely finest, custom-tuned, and most durable handheld equipment out there. For example: In my studies, in head-to-head personal operational experiences over the past two years of my personal Shindaiwa EB8520RT blower versus the Stihl BR600 Magnum, not only does the Shindaiwa outperform/outblow the Sithl, over a typical 300hr use cycle, Zero Shindaiwa problems, Stihl has had fuel system issues, straps, etc. Not to mention when I was in the field how many times a Stihl failed and left me hanging. The build quality alone when you tear them apart speaks droves about how much care and engineering Shindaiwa puts into their product. I cannot for the life of me see why anyone would buy a Stihl over a Shindaiwa or Echo. Pretty much the same results with other product comparisoms. Shindaiwa keeps my weekend company running all year long. (I have an EB8520 RT, M242 w/shears and trimmer head) and what I don't have in Shindaiwa is Echo (srm 230, pe 225,cs-370,hc150) with similar excellent performance.. So do I carry the legend?? You bet..and the merging of Shindaiwa and Echo under Yamabiko is going to do nothing but benefit both.. Any and all future handlheld purchases for my weekend company (which is growing to be full time by 2012/2013 if I want to- With future plans to add more Shindaiwa and Echo to my inventory!"

"Our company, has been in the lawn and landscape maintenance business for the past 17 years.
We began using the Shindaiwa products in 1995. It is the most durable product line on the market today in the landscape contracting business. Our local Shindaiwa dealer loyally supports these products. Also, his customer base when it comes to parts inventory on hand and his excellent service after the sale is outstanding.

We have used the T-27/T270 string trimmer exclusively for the past 15 years and are completely satisfied with the product. It has been the best string trimmer on the market, period.

The line of back pack blowers Shindaiwa has offered has been second to none. We began using the EB 400 model and then went to the EB460 model, 2 of which we still use today. These units were bullet proof. Virtually no down time with these EB 460 units. Our company currently uses 6 of the EB 630 Shindaiwa back pack blowers on a daily basis. We purchased two 802 model blowers in the last two years. We have had great success with this model as well. It continues to represent the Shindaiwa back pack blower line in fine fashion in regards to ruggedness, durability, and dependability.

We also use the very durable Shindaiwa multi-purpose tool on a daily basis. We dubbed it "The Swiss Army Attachment". The ease and versatility of switching from a string trimmer to an egder on a mow crew is efficient and significant, but the ability to go from an articulating hegde clipper to a pole saw within seconds on a landscaping clean up crew is huge! Very affordable and saves time again and again. This tool pays for itself and it is by far one of the most profitable tools we have in regards to charging dollars per man hour for the kind of work we produce with the many different options of extensions available.

Overall, Bonin's Lawn Service has been very satisfied with the Shindaiwa product line of 2cycle equipment over the past 15 years. We have faithfully used the product over the years to help build our book of business and will continue to do so in the future.

Thanks to Shindaiwa for a great product and for all that you do for the green industry.

"I have purchased many brands of products throughout my 7 years in business and nothing stands up to Shindaiwa....trust me, i have owned all the top brands many times over. I currently have 6 Shindaiwa trimmers, 4 edgers, and 4 backpack blowers and all run like new and have been commercially used almost everyday for over 4 years now. Shindaiwa is the best outdoor power equipment on the market hands down ! I will never own anything else period."

"I bought this for my personal use, but have used it a few times out at the Club when the other brand units were down. I love the quietness and low end torque of the unit. When our other brand units run out of power this unit keeps on going so we finish quicker. The other staff say it is a little heavier, but they get done faster with it so it all balances out."

"Own 2 T242's- purchased both this year. On dealer recommendation tried these units out. "1st time I have gone this long with a unit that did not break down. I thought I would need a larger unit but these do all I need with plenty of power to spare, and again, NO down time."
